Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha was founded in 1950 as a strategic point for the state of Israel alongside the Gaza strip border and directly across from Khan Yunis. It is proud to still fill this vital position today. The warm and supportive communal life at Ein Hashlosha is rich in culture and tradition, connected to the land and working together to promote social causes. Prior to the nightmare that we woke up to on October 7th , our community was in a flourishing state of renewal- welcoming new young families, designing new spaces, and filling up our kindergartens. All of this came to a halt on the cursed day of the massacre as we lost friends and were torn from our homes.

From this great source of grief, pain, and loss, we wish to rise again and grow into a fresh new start.

We are still living temporarily in the city of Netivot. However, we are working feverishly on restoring our home, the Kibbutz, and returning to it stronger and more united than ever.

We truly believe in our ability to rehabilitate, rebuild, and recover faith and hope into our lives.
