Hi, I’m Shai. My father Itzik is paralyzed and requires constant care.
On October 7th Our family faced a life-threatening situation when Hamas terrorists invaded our home in Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak. Thanks to my sister’s early notice and the caregiver’s bravery who brought him into the safe room under massive missile attack and held the door while the terrorists tried to break in, my father survived.
Due to his condition and the limited entrance and space, it’s impossible to move him quickly to a safe room, so he usually stays outside of it, defenseless. This time he was lucky enough to make it.
Since that day they are evacuated from home. To go back to a safe home, we need to build an accessible safe room which costs about 300,000 NIS. Unfortunately, the state does not intend to help, which leaves my family to deal with the matter independently.
We would appreciate any donation to help us reach our goal
