The Israeli Women's Rugby National Team is a dynamic group of women who've come together from all corners of life, united by our passion for rugby. Each of us discovered this sport through different paths, but we all found something special - a powerful space where women can showcase our strength, determination, and teamwork. We cherish the opportunity to take our love for this game to international competitions, proudly representing Israel against top European teams.

The past two years have certainly presented challenges for our community both in Israel and abroad. Though we've faced disruptions to training and limited local competition opportunities, our team's spirit remains unshakable. While resources have been strained during these difficult times, we continue to push forward with determination and heart.

Our rugby journey has had its ups and downs - after winning the Rugby Europe Conference Division in 2021 and being promoted to the Championship Division, we faced tough competition. Last season brought some growing pains as we finished at the bottom of our division and were relegated to Conference level. However, this setback has only fueled our determination! We're approaching this season with renewed focus and energy, with our sights firmly set on winning the Conference and earning our way back up.

We're excited to share that we'll soon be participating in the Howard Hinton 7s tournament in France as preparation for the Rugby Europe Conference Series this summer. These international competitions are vital for our development as athletes and for increasing the visibility of women's rugby in Israel.

As a grassroots organization, we face real financial challenges covering travel, accommodation, facilities, security and tournament fees. Funding for women's sports remains limited, and it's only through the generosity of supporters like you that we can continue pursuing our passion and representing our country with pride. We're currently working to raise $9,000 to cover the remaining expenses for these upcoming events.
