Shalom friends! I am running the Tel Aviv Marathon in order to fundraise for a project at my school. I teach English at Dror School in Haifa, Israel. Dror is an elementary school in which about 90% of students are 1st or 2nd generation immigrants from the former Soviet Union. Many of these students need extra help to support their emotional and nutritional needs. Several students come from broken or low income homes or may also have adjustment problems from recent immigration. These issues often manifest themselves as behavioral or emotional problems that deter them from reaching their full potential in the classroom.

To help combat these issues, I am working on a project called "Masa's Harvest" to start a garden and cultivate fresh produce at the school for therapeutic and nutritional purposes to help these tackle issues. Any dollar or shekel donated will help allow students to gain feelings of community, self-sufficiency, and fresh nutrition. Any contribution is appreciated <3. Thank you for reading.
