Hello, my name is Shoshana Strock.

A few months ago, I published a video in which I testified that I was subjected to ritual abuse within my family. Although I stated in the video that I was not protected and that I urgently needed protection, about two months ago I was assaulted again by my father in the apartment where I was living. I filed a complaint with the police regarding the assault and obtained a protection order against my biological father as a result.

Since the most recent assault, I have left my apartment. I could not remain there any longer emotionally, and I also understood that I was no longer safe there. I currently do not have a home of my own and am moving between the homes of kind people who are helping me. I am not emotionally able to work at this time, and I do not have family who can support me. Therefore, I am turning to you - any support, small or large, will help me get back on my feet and receive the assistance I need.

This story is not only mine. It is the story of hundreds, if not thousands, of survivors in Israel who live in fear for their lives and view my case as a test case - Is it finally safe enough to speak? Does the public understand and offer support?
