The occupied West Bank is in the midst of an ethnic cleansing accompanied by escalating settler violence, while the army stands by. The shepherding communities in the West Bank—those who have not yet been expelled—are in greater distress than ever before. All of this (and more) is the result of the State of Israel’s failed strategy toward the occupation. Activists from “Looking the Occupation in the Eye” operate continuously in the West Bank to protect local residents. We maintain an ongoing presence in the field thanks to a facility allocated to us in Ras Ein al-Auja in the southern Jordan Valley. From there, we respond to every call in the area and conduct security patrols using our vehicles and those of volunteer activists. In addition, across the country, we make the occupation visible week after week. We strive to persuade that the pursuit of a political solution must be a top national priority. Therefore, we call for an end to the war in Gaza, for a halt to the killing, and for support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. All our activities are entirely volunteer-based, and we want to continue. To do so, we first need your participation—but we also need funding to cover travel expenses, vehicle maintenance for our work in the West Bank, and the purchase of posters, stickers, and banners that we distribute at protest events across the country. Please donate whatever you can.
