The Safra v’Saifa Torah lecture series, organized by Matanya Weisz, is dedicated to strengthening the spiritual resilience of our IDF soldiers.

One of the central goals of this project is to provide inspiring speakers for students in the Netzach Yehuda pre-army Haredi academies (Mechinot).

Through these lectures, Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) students preparing for military service are given the tools to harmonize their commitment to Torah, mitzvot and a Haredi lifestyle with the challenges and opportunities of serving in the IDF.

The purpose is not to transform Haredim into Zionists, but to show how their service can be understood and valued within the framework of Haredi life and Torah values — enabling them to serve with pride, clarity, and Emunah (faith).

סדרת השיעורים ספרה וסייפא, ביוזמת מתניה וייס, נועדה לחזק את החוסן הרוחני של חיילי צה"ל.

אחד היעדים המרכזיים של המיזם הוא להביא מרצים מעוררי השראה לסטודנטים במכינות החרדיות (מכינות נצח יהודה).

באמצעות השיעורים הללו, תלמידים חרדים המתכוננים לשירות צבאי מקבלים כלים לשלב בין מחויבותם לתורה, למצוות ולאורח חיים חרדי לבין האתגרים וההזדמנויות שבשירות בצה"ל.

המטרה איננה להפוך חרדים לציונים, אלא להראות כיצד ניתן להבין ולהעריך את השירות במסגרת חיי תורה וערכים חרדיים — ולאפשר להם לשרת מתוך גאווה, בהירות ואמונה.
