My name is Omri Einav and I’m just your average Israeli that is doing whatever possible to support his homeland and the IDF, specifically my friends in various combat units, who were called back to reserve duty following Hamas’ massive murderous terror attack. When this war started, I thought this campaign would run for a few weeks, maybe a few months. Now it's November and not only is the war still going on, my unit has been called up for a FOURTH time...
More than a year into the war, frontline units (including my own) are still missing equipement!!
Bulletproof vests, helmets, protective googles, fireproof uniforms, kneepads and weapon accessories are just some of the items that are either missing or are too old and inadequate for fighting. It's crazy that we're still in this situation and we will demands answers after this is over, but right now are doing this fundraiser to help close the gap! For an example of what your support can do;
$220 (AND MOST URGENT) proper tactical uniform. These uniforms are flame retarded, lightweight, and are by far superior to the uniforms the unit has now. These save lives!
$1000 Tactical drones designed for modern warfare. These enable safe reconnaissance, revealing threats without putting lives at risk. While the IDF lacks enough drones for all its units, this small but highly efficient tool is a game-changer for soldiers on the ground
$36 buys a Swiss Army Knife. Soldiers continue to report that these knives are crucial for soliders to be able to make rapid alterations to their uniform. It has allowed soldiers to add glow in the dark patches so they can be tracked by their fellow soldiers, as well as rapdily remove those same patches when danger is imminent. This small donation can literally save a life.
$72 buys a care package for wounded soldiers. As I stated, this is the third time my unit has been called up. This war has put members of my unit in the hospital. These care packages are crucial in making sure soldiers who have sacrificed so much know they are not alone.
$140 buys tactical goggles. My unit is in Gaza, these goggles not only allow us to see clearly in the desert conditions of Gaza, they are crucial in keeping debris and shrapnels out of sodliers eyes. A $140 donation can help prevent blindness.
These brave men and women are tasked with the challenging mission of entering a terrorist infested area and free the hundreds of hostages, and we must do what we can to help them!
I hope you choose to donate and share it among friends and family. Every little bit helps! Please know that any excess equipment will be given to other soldiers and excess funds will be donated to nonprofits focused on supporting IDF soldiers. Simply put, a donation to this fundraiser is a donation for the IDF.
