We are a group of dedicated Canadian Speech-Language Pathologists committed to improving the lives of people of all ages living with communication and/or swallowing difficulties. 

Please help us in raising funds for Beit Issie Shapiro. Located in Raanana, Israel – Beit Issie is a leader in disabilities that specializes in assistive technology, hydrotherapy, speech therapy and emotional therapy among other areas of expertise. Beit Issie serves clients of all faiths and backgrounds in Israel including Jews, Muslims, Druze, Bedouins and Christians.

The centre has expanded its services during the current war in Israel to provide evacuees from the north and south with physical, emotional and cognitive therapy. Many are non-verbal, immobile with complex disabilities who are now completely disoriented and fearful. Services include intake and diagnosis, respite, hydrotherapy, and snoezelen multisensory therapy for trauma. Beit Issie’s social workers, therapists, and psychologists are working day and night with victims of terror and isolated evacuees.
