About us

Galilee Medical Center is the largest hospital in the northern border of Israel, only six miles from the Lebanese border and can function completely in bomb-proof facilities. In addition to our unique location, we are a top-level trauma center, with international experts in all aspects of medicine. Thus, we will be the area main care setting for security forces and civilian population.

In the midst of an ongoing war, the rising number of casualties poses significant challenges. Patient triage to alternative hospitals is hindered by factors such as varying patient severity, continuous attacks, and the likelihood of other medical facilities reaching full capacity. Moreover, disruptions to community services make it difficult to discharge patients back to their homes. Expanding our acute and critical care bed capacity hinges on the availability of essential equipment, including specialized gear designed to enhance treatment for severely injured soldiers in this conflict.
