As an award winning filmmaker with a history in projects observing the human condition and shifts in paradigm, I felt strongly that I needed to document this profound process and reveal the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, with your help, millions of people could benefit from witnessing the breakthroughs in trauma recovery that I have been blessed to capture on camera, and your support will enable survivors to get the ongoing care they desperately need.

Our Mission
AND THERE WAS LIGHT is more than a film; it's a mission-driven charitable initiative to:
• Support survivors: royalties from the film will subsidise ongoing treatment programmes, as well as support the artistic endeavours of our heroes, allowing their creative talents to be experienced worldwide;
• Authenticate history: allowing global audiences to bear witness to an intimate, behind-the-scenes account of the aftermath of the worst attack on the Jewish people since the holocaust;
• Raise awareness: by increasing educational outreach, including special screenings and Q&As with our brave heroes at schools and colleges; synagogues; churches; mosques; as well as international festival exposure, we will spread a positive message. A film that strikes a chord with all of humanity is critical to helping change the negative narrative presently dividing our world.
• Create future illuminating content!
Why We Urgently Need Your Support:
We have been filming four survivors across four continents for nine months. Your donations will directly fund the first phase of our fundraising:
• Establish the ATWL charity for survivors;
• Compensate our professional team who have been generously working on deferred payment;
• Cover on-going expenses and start editing "And There was Light" for an international audience.
We invite you to meet the heroes in our film; Sebastian, Aviv, Ofri and Eli - a paramedic, installation artist, soldier and DJ - who agreed to allow the presence of a camera. The lens becomes witness to a most delicate metamorphosis...

By documenting these stories we bear witness to the triumph of the human spirit as our heroic survivors share their unimaginable dance out of darkness. Unravelling complex family histories and celebrating surprising breakthroughs, these personal testimonies reveal a collective story of a people in perpetual trauma, but it also provides touchpoints to relatable themes that affect us all, no matter where we are in the world.
