Amina is 16 and has been fighting cancer for the past 4 years.
She has undergone 20 rounds of chemotherapy, 2 courses of radiation, and several surgeries.
Right now, doctors at Ichilov Hospital (Israel) have extended her treatment with Cabozantinib — a medication that helps stop the growth of cancer cells.
One box costs 21,894 shekels, and Amina needs it by mid-May.
The treatment must not be interrupted, as that would significantly increase the risk of the cancer returning.
Amina is an incredibly bright and creative young girl. Despite the side effects of her treatment, she leads an active life — practicing horseback riding, yoga, and spending time drawing, as her dream is to become a designer.
She also deeply loves Israel and considers it her second home, because during her time here, she has met so many kind and supportive people.
Let’s be those people again. Let’s help her continue this fight and keep the illness from returning.
The Chance for Life Foundation has been supporting families of children with cancer who come to Israel for treatment since 2015.
