To Support Farmers and Small Businesses in the South of Israel

About the Concert

We are a group of women orchestrating benefit concerts around Israel to bring rays of hope and harmony through an evening of solidarity and song. We use our voices to uplift spirits and generate essential funds for the reconstruction of the Southern regions.

We are proud to stand alongside Leket Israel, an organization with a proven track record of partnering with farmers and providing food for malnourished populations across Israel. Before the war broke out, Leket was known to feed 250,000 people in need on a weekly basis.

Since the outbreak of the war, Leket Israel has been at the forefront, addressing new critical needs with unwavering commitment to aiding farmers and small businesses profoundly impacted by the recent conflict. The organization has implemented a range of relief initiatives, with support to date including:

• Providing a staggering 14,000 meals daily, each protein-based meal costing $6.25
• The purchase of 5,000 metric tons (10 million lbs.) of produce benefitting those in need and supporting the Israeli farming sector.   
• The provision of credit cards for the purchase of necessities to 1,200 farmers and 5,200 evacuee families.
• The provision of 30,000 dry food packages to evacuees.
• The recruitment of 25,000 volunteers to help 500 farmers harvest their crops throughout Israel (including a collaboration with Bank Leumi, Keshet, and the Student Union).

The situation is dire, and these farmers and small businesses face the most significant crisis of their existence. Leket Israel is diligently working to keep them solvent, fostering resilience in the very heart of Israel's agricultural foundation.

About Leket Israel

Leket Israel, Israel’s National Food Bank, rescues over 73 million lbs. of surplus, high-quality food annually, that otherwise would go to waste, from hundreds of farms, hotels, corporate caterers and IDF army bases. The food is distributed weekly to over 296 non-profits feeding 330,000 Israelis of all backgrounds including Holocaust survivors, families living below the poverty line, struggling immigrants, at-risk youth, and other vulnerable populations. Since the war, Leket has been providing critical emergency relief and focusing on: meals for homebound individuals and seniors, food and essential supplies for displaced families, financial support for evacuees, and assisting farmers in harvesting their crops. You can learn more about Leket Israel here: leket.org/en/
