I am a person who feels the reality stronger,

From the very personal to the global political reality.

Even when I tried, reality never passed by me but right through my chest—  flaming between my lungs.

Because of those flames, I have always felt the necessity of being active for change, creating a place where the flames can maybe burn a little less.

 This place is the theatre.

Theatre presents in fierce and clear colours the reality we tend to haze in grey. It allows us to celebrate and mourn this reality.

Since childhood, the theatre has made my heart beat the strongest.  I am enraptured by every capillary and tendon of theatre, from every lantern, every pause between the lines, from an actress\\\'s silence to an actor\\\'s cry, from words, from music, and mainly from the combination of all to create a world with new meaning, To direct.

I began writing and composing songs in second grade. I produced and played in school performances since around the same time. At the age of 12, I played a leading role for the first time in the Haifa Theatre in the musical "Euphoria". At the age of 14, I wrote and directed my first play called "Shuk" (Market) and independently staged it in the hangar of Thelma Yellin. At age 15, I played a leading role in the play “Someone Like Me" at the Gesher Theatre (considered one of the top theatres in Israel).

In 2022, I completed my studies at Thelma Yellin High School Of The Arts with social excellence and excellence in the theatre major. I directed the play "The Birthday Party" by Harold Pinter as part of my studies. After graduation and following the success of the production, we staged it again, this time at the Tzavta Theatre.

Last January, I was a second assistant director to Oliver Frljić (one of Europe\\\'s most important directors today) at the Gorki Theatre in Berlin. I was discharged from the army based on a conscious clause, and instead, I volunteered at an association for promoting education in Jaffa.

This month, I will turn 19. I am writing to you today because I have been accepted into the Master\\\'s program of Theatre Directing at the Royal Holloway University of London. It is the highest-quality program for studying directing in London, the theatre capital, and one of the world\\\'s most prestigious and highest-quality programs. The unique aspect of the degree at Royal Holloway is being mentored by Professor and one of the most influential directors in the world, Katie Mitchell.

Katie Mitchell is an immense inspiration to me as a feminist, sensitive, powerful, and boundary-breaking theatre creator. Learning from her would fulfil a dream I didn\'t even dare to dream, just as a computer scientist would aspire to learn from Steve Jobs or filmmaker from Quentin Tarantino.

The tuition fee for the program is £22,800 ( 120,000 shekels including accommodation). I have searched and examined countless scholarships, but only a few support theatre studies and even that support is extremely limited. (If you want to study quantum computing, there are various scholarships waiting for you). Over the past year, I have been working two jobs and saving as much as possible. Unfortunately, it is not enough. I founded the fundraising in order to succeed in the mission of financing the studies.

I am reaching out to you and asking for your help in funding my studies because I know that many of us who have gone to the theatre in our lives, even if only occasionally, know that a good performance is a formative experience that is etched into our memories. Especially when the majority of our existence becomes virtual, theatre creates a rare, important, and one-time human encounter.

I promise honestly that I will give back to society and culture through theatre throughout my life.
I dream of creating a theatre that will constitute an island of emotion and compassion from our violent reality.

A small island that hopefully will extend.
But first, I need to learn, learn from the very best.
