Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva is currently facing a critical shortage of medical equipment, exacerbated by recent Hamas attacks on civilians in the southern area of Israel. The hospital has emerged as a lifeline for those affected by these tragic incidents, taking on an overwhelming caseload since October 7th. To put it into perspective, Soroka, located only 40 km from Gaza, has been treating thousands of patients, representing 80% of all casualties, which include complex cases involving women, civilians, and soldiers.
The injuries we are dealing with are exceptionally severe and unprecedented, demanding relentless dedication from our medical staff working grueling 72-hour shifts.
Our greatest needs are in the emergency department and the trauma unit, as well as the operating rooms and intensive care units, which include essential items such as stretchers, infusion columns, Linet Multicare x electric ICU beds, Ecmo, Quantum perfusion monitoring, Fize kuo automatic urinomenters, and other crucial equipment listed in the attachment.
Every donation you make will be directly allocated to specific equipment, and we will serve as your main point of contact throughout this process. Your support not only makes a tangible difference but is also tax-deductible in both the US and Israel. Your generosity can save lives, and would appreciate it if you could take immediate action.
