The Israeli national debate team is seeking your support to send our five exceptionally talented students to this year's world championship in Belgrade, Serbia. Despite navigating through challenging circumstances, an ever-shifting reality encounters with antisemitism and personal losses, the team has showcased unwavering dedication and achieved remarkable successes, namely advancing to the semi-finals of the prestigious "Vilnius Open" online tournament and consistently outperforming expectations in local competitions, often beating university debaters! The presence of Israeli representation at the world championship is crucial for fostering meaningful exchanges with other teams and presenting a nuanced perspective of Israel that may otherwise remain unseen. Equipped with profound knowledge and a deep commitment to representing their country with pride, our students are poised to leave a lasting impression on the global stage.

The funds from this campaign will go towards covering expenses for our five debaters and two coaches - the price of flights (2000 NIS per person), registration (3200 NIS per person), and accommodation for the weekend after the competition (3600 NIS) as the tournament ends on Friday and we do not fly on Shabbat.
