▶ Watch: Tenufa’s Impact During War and Throughout the Year
Since October 7, Tenufa Bakehila – Building Hope has restored more than 750 bomb shelters in shared apartment buildings across Israel.
Now, with the current escalation, dozens more shelters have been urgently referred to us by municipal emergency authorities.
The Need:
Hundreds of shelters remain unsafe and unusable:
Flooded. Dark. Sealed shut. No electricity. No water. No sanitation. No safe access. No protection.
With rockets falling daily, families are left without a safe place to run.
A Race Against Time
Our professional teams are working across the country - restoring essential infrastructure and installing lighting, ventilation, and safety railings so shelters can be used safely, especially by elderly residents.
In recent weeks, we have been working daily on dozens of shelters, responding to urgent needs on the ground.
