Ot.Hayim (Living Letters) - A commemorative project in their handwriting

Designers create fonts from the handwriting of the victims and fallen soldiers of the Iron Swords War on October 7, 2023, in collaboration with the bereaved families, to commemorate the memory of their loved ones. All partners in the Initiative do so on a volunteer basis.

The fonts are named after the commemorated, and are published under that name.

All the fonts are available for download on the project’s website, along with the photo of the original manuscript of the commemorated, his picture and his life story.

The fonts will be freely available for use on any computer and in any home, and for anyone who wants it: families, pupils, students, teachers, designers and more. And by this, we pray, that something of the personality and uniqueness of those dear to us, will be immortalized and shine on the world.

The project touches the families and gives them some comfort.

The project has an active website, Facebook page, and Instagram through which you can track the project's development and download the memorial fonts. Over the past few weeks since the project was launched, we have received dozens of comments and photos showcasing the use of fonts from the project by individuals as well as designers.
We feel that we are touching hearts and providing some comfort to families. A strong message of unity and partnership touches everyone exposed to the project, and everyone involved does so with an open heart and without any reward.
Many inquiries come from families interested in commemorating their loved ones through a handwritten font, and we aspire and hope to be able to respond to all of them.

We would be very grateful and thankful if you could assist us with your donation.
