Hi! My name is Atur, I’m 23 years old, and 3 years ago I have decided to make Aliyah from my hometown of Prague, Czechia in order to enlist in the IDF. I decided to enlist to the Kfir bridage, Nahshon battalion, where today I serve as a commander.

Enlisting has been an extremely important and significant part of my life, as nothing brings me more fulfilment and purpose than to defend innocent people all across the country.

As a Lone soldier, I recieve a limited budget for housing. Seeing as I want to be close to my friends and my girlfriend in Jerusalem, I am currently seeking an apartment there. However, the budget I am recieving from the IDF isn’t sufficient to make up for monthly rent in Jerusalem.

With this I turn to you for assistance, your financial support can result in a less lone Lone soldier who can be closer to his loved ones.

This donation is comprised of two parts: a donation to support me moving to Jerusalem and renting an apartment, as opposed to live in Lone Soldier Housing which isnt available in Jerusalem. The second part is a donation to provide me with modern and high quality gear to replace outdated low quality military issued gear.

This part of the overall donation is for covering rent in a Jerusalem apartment, seeing as the IDF donates 460 USD to lone soldiers, which isnt sufficient to live in Jerusalem.

This part of the overall donation will cover 8 months worth of rent in a Jerusalem apartment which costs 540 USD a month including utilities and energy, 4300 USD overall.

The sum covers a Marom Dolphin Shayetet 13 Gen 3 vest, including a combat belt, backpack and necessary pouches and accessories (890 USD), a MICH full-cut helmet (380 USD), 2 Level IV protection ceramic plates (730 USD), eye protection  (300 USD), tactical fatigues (400) and an advanced communication set (150). The overall sum is 2850  USD.

The final sum of the donation is 7150 USD.

I am serving as a warrior in various Areas of Operation, from the Northern border to the West Bank, and quality gear can literally make a difference between life and death. Unfortunately quality gear is sometimes a serious issue in our unit, and we are often stuck with low quality protection.

Quality gear also provides a huge boost in combat efficiency, as lighter and smarter gear is the key to efficiency in combat.

Aside from needing this gear for my active service, this is a long-term investment, as I have upwards of 20 years of reserve service, where issued combat gear is of an even lower and more outdated quality.

With your donation you can vastly contribute both to my combat efficiency and my safety, in life threatening situations.
