Hello everyone, 

We are Limmud, a group of teenagers from South Africa and Australia who have been participating in a Bnei Akiva Hachshara program for the past 10 months. 

Throughout the year, we have been privileged to volunteer with children from a variety of demographics as well as the Israeli ambulance service ‘Magen David Adom’ and a plethora of other amazing experiences. 

Hence, having gained such a strong connection to the Israeli youth and Israeli medical services, we felt it was consequently important to leave our own Limmud footprint with a project close to our hearts. 

That’s where you come into the picture! Many Limmud participants have committed to donating their hair to Zichron Menachem whilst simultaneously raising money for רחשי לב (Rehshei Lev) and we would really appreciate your help ☺️

Rehshei Lev’s prime focus is assistance and support of 500+ children with cancer and their families. Their focus is twofold, offering medical care through the organisation of extra funds for medicine and special treatments. They also cultivate psychological care, boosting the morale of the children with camps, trips abroad, special birthdays parties, concerts and an abundance more. רחשי לב offers 24/7 support to their kids from their willing and enthusiastic staff and volunteers. 

In the past year, our new madricha Avigail was involved with רחשי לב as a component of her national service. Having become aware of the life changing work performed by this organisation, we consider it to be the most appropriate option in order for us to provide a practical and meaningful impact on Israeli society after we leave. 

Our project is lead by pure passion and genuine care for Israeli society. We would so grateful for your assistance. Every donation (big or small) will bring a smile to the children’s faces and assist us in completing our year with the satisfaction of knowing that we have managed to give back in some way.
