Dear Friends,
We are in the midst of a war the likes of which we have never known, with heavy losses and inconceivable physical and emotional injury to thousands of people. We are fighting for our lives and for our country.
At the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), we are preparing for every possible scenario in order to provide an immediate response and the best possible treatment for the many victims of this war. Ichilov hospital has a 1,600-bed world-class governmental academic medical center that serves the approximately one million plus population of the Greater Tel Aviv area.
In order to strengthen the resilience of the hospital and to save more lives, we have established an Emergency Solidarity Fund. This Fund enables us to provide a quick and efficient response for the many wounded and traumatized people who have arrived at the hospital with various degrees of injury from all over the country as well as soldiers who are in need of medical care and rehabilitation.

1. National Front-line Rehabilitation Hospital for Wounded Soldiers and Civilians
Ichilov is scaling-up to establish an In-Patient and Ambulatory Rehabilitation Hospital for the unprecedented number of soldiers and civilians injured in this war both in body and mind. The Front-line Rehabilitation Hospital is building upon Ichilov's current expertise in physical rehabilitation and our mental health expertise in emotional trauma and PTSD. Thousands of civilians and soldiers will receive hospitalization, intensive out-patient services and tele-rehabilitation services.
2. Immediate Underground Emergency Hospital
We are continuing to equip an underground complex in the hospital that is reinforced against rocket fire in the event of a widespread attack, a missile threat or a multi-casualty event. The Emergency Hospital will accommodate up to 1,000 people with various degrees of injuries.

3. Mass Casualty Incident Battlefield Simulation Training for soldiers
Training at Ichilov’s Medical Technology and Simulation Center (MTS) simulates complex treatment situations in a learning environment resembling real-life situations as closely as possible using simulators, mannequins and actors. We are overwhelmed with the need to train army healthcare workers in Mass Casualty Incidents and trauma care and have become a hub of vital training for our frontline health care heroes.
