The Dovik Foundation was established in memory of Dov (Dovik) Larba, an IDF soldier who fell during his service. The foundation promotes the values of Zionism, education, leadership, and community contribution. It supports educational projects, lectures, and activities that strengthen national resilience.
The Dovik Foundation works to support families of soldiers, captives, and the missing, and to build bridges between Israeli and Diaspora communities, guided by a deep sense of mission and mutual responsibility.
Currently, we are closely accompanying the family of Alon Ohel, a freed Hamas hostage whose story inspires national commitment. After a long and difficult captivity, Alon has returned home and is undergoing complex medical treatments to restore his vision.
The Ohel family endured months of pain, uncertainty, and hope, and throughout this time received extraordinary support from Jewish communities worldwide, who showed warmth, solidarity, and endless love.
Ahead of the upcoming Hanukkah holiday, the Dovik Foundation is organizing the family’s visit to Miami, enabling them to personally thank supporters, participate in community events, and assist the Dovik Foundation in raising fundsto continue its activities for fighters and lone soldiers. This visit is far more than a human gesture; it is a symbol of hope, unity, and the strength of the Israeli spirit.
