Darom Adom Pins For Support And Solidarity
By Project Twenty Four
‘Darom Adom’ (Red South) is the name given to the blossoms of Anemones that cover the entire landscape of the Gaza envelope area during winter.
Each year, this beautiful red blossom sparks a series of festive events that draw thousands of Israelis from across the country.
Unfortunately, and with much reason, October 7th events and the war that followed canceled all that was planned.
P24 wanted to keep the ‘Darom Adom’ tradition alive - in our hearts.
We created an especially designed emblem pin in the shape of an Anemone - based on the artistic vision of Or Yogev (an artist originating from the South), to be worn on your lapel or your bags.
The profits from the sales of these pins will be directed to the ‘Red South Department’ of the Southern Council - in order to support the region's rehabilitation, in the hope that the local holiday can be celebrated again next year.
Purchasing a pin, and inviting your family and friends to do the same, will not only support Darom Adom directly, but also demonstrate Jewish unity through a mass of red flowers in your community, just like in the South of Israel. A symbol of solidarity, as well as a sign of hope and renewal.
Project Twenty Four is a social impact startup, addressing the burning problems and real-life needs of Israelis and Jews around the globe, following the October 7 events.
