Dear friends and family,

Thank you for visiting our Bnei Mitzvah page for Leket Israel. Leket Israel is a non-profit organization that provides food for malnourished populations across Israel. It feeds 330,000 people in need weekly and is the largest food bank in Israel.

Leket is unique because it rescues and redistributes surplus food that would otherwise be discarded. Leket salvages over 75 million pounds of fresh produce and prepared meals annually in this way and delivers it to people suffering from food insecurity, including: displaced families, Holocaust survivors and the elderly, families below the poverty line, struggling immigrants, at-risk youth, and other vulnerable populations. Since the war, Leket has been providing critical emergency relief and focusing on: meals for homebound individuals and seniors, food and essential supplies for displaced families, financial support for evacuees, and assisting farmers in harvesting their crops.

All donations in honor of our Bnei Mitzvah will go towards the rescue and distribution of fresh, nutritious food to those in need throughout Israel. Please consider making a donation to this important cause.
