In the past few weeks in Israel, hundreds of women gave birth while their spouses are away, fighting in Gaza. Most of these newborns have yet to meet their fathers.

During these tumultuous days, this is our time to show our care for these new mothers going through this challenging time alone – to be there for them and strengthen them as much as we can.

We reached out to Shilav, a popular baby store in Israel, with the goal of providing each new mother a gift card to buy whatever she needs for her newborn. For each donation that we receive, Shilav will add a third in addition to your donation.

We also reached out to Group Hug, a well-known platform that provides mental support in the form of breastfeeding and sleep guidance, yoga classes for babies, and more to support new mothers.

For every month of support donated to a new mother, the CEO of Group Hug, Yuval Scharf, will match this by two extra months, for a total of 3 months for each mother.

For this important project, we need 80$ for each mother, and our goal is to reach 150 women.

These donations will go directly to Latet – Israeli Humanitarian Aid, one of the largest social organizations in Israel providing impactful assistance to tens of thousands of people in need on a daily basis. Latet will ensure that each new mother receives the support they need.

Every donation counts towards achieving our goal of supporting these mothers.
