A German and an Israeli meet in NYC, fall in love, and build their lives in Tel Aviv. Sounds like a Netflix movie, but this is the story of our lives :)
Bernd (43) is a former ballet dancer, who is now training the future dancers of Israel. Slav (34) is an organizational consultant, leading development programs and managerial trainings. And Sissi, our dog, is certain that she is the best guard dog in the world! (Don't tell her that her bark is more cute than scary, and that she weighs only 9 pounds)
The wish for being parents has been a part of our relationship for a long time. As parents we want to give our future child the best parts of ourselves (except for Bernd's snoring) and nurture them with endless love. We can't wait to bring a baby into our world... to step barefoot on legos... and to hear the question "Daddy, when are we there?" a million times coming from the carseat :)
Why crowd funding?
The cost for surrogacy in the US are over $130,000. We started our process in the fall of 2019, and then COVID hit. The pendemic set us back financially, but it did not destroy our dream. And now, it's time to continue where we left off, and we would so much appreciate your support in our quest for parenthood.

On Friday, October 15th, we are hosting a music and art festival at Collabo, Tel Aviv from 11:00-18:00. There will be DJs, Dance performances (Kamea Dance Company, Fresco, and more), musical guests, yoga, an auction, second hand clothing sale, and more. Come celebrate with us!
