Lama? Kova! - Why? A hat! - is the Association for Street Musicians in Israel. We want to flood the streets of Israel with live music played by professional musicians of all genres. 

Our main goal is to develop the culture of street music in Israel and to expose the general population to a wide range of musical styles and instruments at a professional level, while simultaneously providing work for the many talented musicians who live in our country and wish to pursue a professional career. In addition, Lama Kova has set itself a goal to become the primary provider of musical performers for hospitals and other therapeutic institutions in Israel.

Musical Performances in Hospitals and other Therapeutic Institutions: Live music is beneficial to people in hospitals as it is pleasant to listen to and a welcome distraction from pain. Pilot programs in this area have been successful, and Lama Kova is in the process of setting up a department that will be in charge of organizing this particular sector of performances, with the advice of “Music Para el Alma”, a South American organization with experience in this field. We believe that with proper management, Lama Kova can use our pool of musicians, together with volunteers, in order to provide regular live musical performances in any medical institution in the country, thus positively influencing thousands of sick people, medical staff members, and families of hospital patients.
