Tasya is 10 years old. She has already undergone cancer treatment and was hopeful that this ordeal was behind her. But this spring the disease returned.
Three years ago, after breaking her leg, Tasya was diagnosed with a rare form of osteosarcoma—a malignant bone tumor. The family traveled to Israel for treatment, and a long battle for the girl’s health began.

There were rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, tests, and endless waiting for results. Unfortunately, to stop the disease, doctors had to amputate her leg. For the child and her family, this was an enormous ordeal.
But the treatment helped.

Tasya returned home, went back to school, and met up with her friends. It seemed as though the hardest part was behind her.

Unfortunately, during an examination, the doctors discovered metastases in her lungs and a tumor near her heart. Tasya and her mother traveled to Israel again and began treatment. The first round of chemotherapy proved to be very difficult. With her immune system weakened, she developed a severe infection. Tasya even required additional surgery.
The doctors have now managed to control the infection, but a special antibiotic is needed to continue treatment. It is to purchase this medication that we are launching this fundraiser.

The course of treatment costs 10 500 shekels ($ 3 660). We need just over 100 donors, each donating 100 shekels. Then Tasya will have the medicine.

The doctor has allowed her to continue treatment at home under her mother’s supervision. After long weeks in a hospital ward, this is an opportunity for Tasya to rest a bit, be in a more comfortable environment, and gather strength before the next battle with the disease.

But she needs medication right now. Without it, doctors won’t be able to safely continue her anticancer therapy and prepare her for the next stages of treatment.
