Hasoub Garage is Hasoub’s first innovation & technology center and coworking-space for entrepreneurs and technologists from the Arab minority in Israel. The main goal of the center is to facilitate entrepreneurship and innovation in the area through programs for entrepreneurs and investors, and to inspire the coming generations of innovators and social leaders through educational programs. In addition, as a place open for all, we’re aiming to promote dialogue and shared work between the diverse segments our area is blessed with.

Hasoub is an Arab grassroots NGO fostering fostering tech-entrepreneurship as an economic lever for the local Arab society and working towards creating a more diverse innovation within a more inclusive “Startup Nation”.

LOCATION: Ar’ara village - in Wadi Ara, the center of the northern triangle (the building is 2-minutes drive from route 65).

TARGET AUDIENCE: Entrepreneurs, SMBs, Investors, Technologists and students (mainly the population between Umm-al-Fahm to Baqa al-Gharbiyye).

FACILITY: 500m2 old building (~1930), sitting on a 11,000m2 small hill. Served as the middle school of the village up until 10 years ago, and got abandoned since then.

The facility will include: Modular open coworking space (~30 workstations / ~150 event participants), 3-4 closed offices, 3 meeting rooms, Multipurpose room (for workshops, discussion groups etc…), Makerspace, Bathroom + Kitchen + nap/sleep room, External yard: for larger events, Balcon, Garden.

ACTIVITIES: Hasoub StartupSchool, Hasoub’s Angel Investors Club, Bootcamps, Courses, Workshops, Educational Programs for schools.

Total Renovation Cost: 3,000,000₪.

Crowdfunding Goal: 350,000₪ + 1:1 Matching = 700,000₪
