Help us and take part in completing the second stage of the monument at the kibbutz.
After completion of the first phase of the monument - commemorating Holocaust victims, first-degree relatives (see details below) - we are on the threshold of stage two -
 From Holocaust to Revival

The second stage of the design of the wall is a representation that illustrates the idea that from the bereavement and extinction of most of the families of the founders of the kibbutz (Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Argentina), a magnificent kibbutz grew. The founders of the kibbutz, who remained orphaned from their families after the Holocaust, established and built new kibbutz and Israeli families. We would like to present this representative at the head of a memorial wall. The exhibit was prepared by kibbutz resident Itzik Weiss.

We still have no funding for the second stage.

We now turn to you, the second and third generation of the founders, to make a contribution to the continuation and conclusion of this project.
We also turn to Holocaust commemoration organizations in Israel and abroad who will also make a donation, and we also turn to the kibbutz administration, which has already given 40,000 NIS to complete the missing (after donations).

The budget currently estimated for completion of the project is approximately 25,000 NIS

The committee established by the kibbutz continues to work voluntarily to end this commemorative project.

First stage - commemorating Holocaust victims, first-degree relatives of kibbutz members in the past and present.

After many years in which we deliberated about commemorating our loved ones who were murdered in the Holocaust, the idea came to life. A memorial committee , working on a voluntary basis , has been established (production, collecting names, design, planning, gardening, etc.): Efrat Vardi, Gilad Hakim, Shimrit Ziv, Shlomo Mandel, Esther Toren, Galia Magoz Svir and Roman Zeletsky.
There was a question of whether to establish a memorial site inside the kibbutz or in the cemetery. It was decided to build it inside the kibbutz so that it would be a daily testimony. The idea behind the decision was that on the one hand the site would be accessible and the names of those who perished would be perpetuated forever, and on the other hand, elements of color would be added to it, to express the surviving generation, building the country and the kibbutz, and will be an invitation for young people to visit the site, remember and never forget.

The memorial wall is built of ceramic tiles, a square for each family. Appendix 1 (Planning Committee Decision) The design was made by Galia Savir and Roman Zalsky, residents of the kibbutz. The execution, tile printing, burning and placing them on the wall was done by Michaela Ivri from the "Ivri" studio in Karmiel. The kibbutz allocated 40,000 NIS from the community's investment plan for 2016-17. Our regional council responded to our request and contributed NIS 10,000 to this enterprise.
There was a great work (about two years) by Shlomo Mandel and Esther Toren, to collect the names of the loved ones, to be in contact with the families that commemorated the kibbutz, and with the sons of the founders outside the kibbutz.
It was decided to commemorate all the first-degree relatives of the founders and kibbutz members today.

On Erev Yom Hashoa, April 22, 2017, the wall was inaugurated in the presence of the head of the Megiddo Regional Council, Itzik Cholawski and all the members of the kibbutz.
Another ten families that did not commemorate their loved ones so far have asked to add memorial squares on the wall and have completed the completion.
The kibbutz 'Ginot Noy' team with architect Shimrit Ziv, a member of the kibbutz, designed the landscaping around the wall and took care of its maintenance.
