From the Field to the Court is an Israeli community sports initiative operated by Olam HaTennis, a registered Israeli nonprofit.
The program provides soldiers, reservists and members of Israel’s security forces with accessible tennis and padel sessions, professional coaching and supportive community activities as they return from operational service to civilian routine.
The initiative began in southern Israel and has grown through direct referrals between participants, coaches, communities and sports facilities.
To date, the program has delivered:
- More than 400 tennis and padel sessions
- A national network of 13 trained coaches
- Activities and events in several communities across Israel
- Ongoing participation by soldiers, reservists and security personnel
The sessions are designed to provide a structured, safe and non-competitive space for movement, release, social connection and a gradual return to routine. The initiative is not a medical or psychological treatment program and does not replace professional healthcare.
What will the donations fund?
Donations will be used exclusively for the public activities of the project, including:
- Coaching and professional sports instruction
- Rental of tennis and padel courts
- Sports equipment
- Community and regional events
- Training, supervision and safety procedures for coaches
- Transportation and accessibility support where required
- Operational reporting and measurement of program activity
Our immediate goal is to expand the program to additional participants and communities while maintaining consistent professional standards, documentation and responsible financial oversight.
Every donation helps create another accessible session, another local activity and another opportunity for a soldier or reservist to return—not to the battlefield, but to the court.
The project is operated by Olam HaTennis, Registered Association No. 580817013.
Thank you for helping us build a sustainable national network of sport, community and return to routine
