For over two years, Haimanot has been missing, and to this day, there has been no lead. The foundation, made up of Haimanot’s family members and activists who have supported the family throughout this time, works tirelessly to continue the search, increase the financial reward, and expand the public campaign until she is found.
Haimanot immigrated to Israel from Ethiopia with her family about three years before her abduction, and lived at the absorption center on 9 Tzahal Street in Safed. She is the third among her siblings and was a student at Shevet Sofer School in Hatzor HaGlilit.
On Sunday, February 25, 2023, Haimanot went on a school trip with her class. She returned home at around 4:00 PM and later went down to an activity with mentors at the absorption center. After the activity ended, she played with her friends. At 7:00 PM, she was last seen on security cameras at the entrance to the absorption center.
Since then, there has been no lead.
We are now asking for your help in increasing the financial reward and covering additional expenses, so that we can continue and expand the search efforts.
Every donation, no matter how small or large, helps fund the ongoing activities, search efforts, and public awareness campaign, and brings us one step closer to bringing her home.
