Dear supporter,

Our beautiful village Be’erotaim is located only 2.5 Km (1.5 miles) from the border with the city of Tul Karrem (Palestinian Authority), the same distance as Kfar Azza (that was attacked on October 7th massacre) from the Gaza strip.

As the war started the people of Be’erotaim with the support of the village council, established a local war room and set up a civilian guarding force based on volunteers. An armed emergency squad was formed and trained to protect the village in case of a terror attack and a Local Resilience Team was arranged to supply civilian support, including medical in need and under attack. The local security officer with the head of security making sure everyone is cooperating and working 24/7 since October 7th.

Everyone within Be’erotaim community teamed up and volunteered in its own way - from baking cakes to the guards to assisting families that were evacuated from their houses in the south and the north of Israel.

Due to unexpected expenses the village council had paid and since there are more expenses to be made to keep our safety and operations - we need to buy for our emergency squad and teams:

Equipment and Lights - 10K NIS (2.5K USD)

13 Emergency Team Vests - 11K NIS (3K USD)

Helmets for Emergency Team - 7.5K NIS (2K USD)

Security Cameras - 70K NIS (19K USD)

Thermal Drone - 60K NIS (16K USD)

The village council works with full transparency and will provide all expenses in the village website to the public.
