Yuval Svirsky (35) was born and raised in Kibbutz Be’eri. Three years ago he and his wife fulfilled a dream, and moved to a farm on Moshav Patish in the Western Negev and built a shed. A year ago they became parents.
On October 7, Hamas murdered Yuval's parents and his grandmother's caregiver in Kibbutz Be'eri, and kidnapped his brother Itay. Yuval and his family were evacuated to central Israel.
Since then, Yuval has not been able to manage his shed, and has had to sell his entire flock of sheep at a loss. The shed now stands empty.
In January, Yuval and his family were informed by the IDF that Hamas had murdered their brother Itay.
The grief and heartbreak have driven Yuval and his wife to conclude that their best chance of rehabilitation, if not sheer survival, is to return to Moshav Patish and start up their shed.
And that is what they have done.
However, to begin sheep farming again, the family must raise NIS 600,000 to acquire sheep, pay expenses, initial veterinary services, quality food etc'.
We must help Yuval Svirsky to restore his life.
