About the series

This project is a final film that aims to become a series, with your help!

In a taxi on the way to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, the view from the window is extraordinary. A combination of endless nature with calmness and a sweet dream about to begin.

Only this landscape, we will see in the dark and it will look like a tangled forest without points of light that begins the biggest nightmare of the Bloom family.

Dafna Blum is a single mother who never married and at the age of forty gave birth to her two sons through sperm donation. Arel the eldest, 24 years old, and Nadav, 22 years old, a soldier in the army. That\\\\\\\\\'s how they lived in one house, to which their partners were also added over the years.

Dafna and Arel are in the taxi, a few minutes after the nightmare of every Israeli family knocking on their door. City officer. He informs them that Nadav was shot in the head and mortally wounded. They gathered at the hospital but hopes are in vain. Nadav was killed. Not in a heroic death, but as a result of "gunplay", an unnecessary and wasted death.

The series accompanies the Blum family in their individual, shared struggle as part of Israeli society.

The dissonance between the desire, the instinct, and the need of the family to concentrate on the loss in front of the natural and nosy need of the outer circles to intervene and help.

The series examines the Israeli society that is so used to dealing with bereavement and asks many questions to which the answers will never be - right or wrong.

About the creator

Nice to meet you! I\\\\\\\\'m Nofer Bohdana, 29 years old, a fourth-year student of voice and screen arts at Sapir College, and my series is based on my personal grief experience.

About two years ago, the late Yonatan Garnot - my partner\\\\\\\\\'s brother - was killed in the army as a result of "playing" with a weapon, a concept that was changed following the incident to weapons crimes.

I became a part of a family that involuntarily became bereaved and I found myself experiencing, watching, comforting, and comforting in the same breath.

I watched a mother lose her son, a partner lose his brother, and a partner loses her lover.

I watched and experienced the families, the media, the comforters that frequented our home, and the army that comes often.

Mostly I experienced pain. I also had something to say and chose to remain silent.

Jonathan death changed my life.

I chose to express the pain through a fictional series based on our story, from my eyes. This is a series that expresses pain in words and a lot in silence.

Most of the time we chose silence, but this time I choose to tell, in my own way, from my angle.

And of course, the family supports and is aware of everything that is written.

The late Yonatan Granot was himself an artisan. He studied graphic design, drew, prepared and took many photos and videos, and wrote texts concerning society and various topics.

Some of the texts and works are used in the series.

During my studies I created quite a few projects, all of them revolved around social issues and most of them are based on real events that I experienced.

Since I was little I have been writing my thoughts and feelings, creating stories concerning various topics in society with the aim of creating big and small changes in those who see them.

Besides my studies, I am a member of the ISAF Foundation, which works to reduce gaps in society and train leaders for 3 years. This year I am the coordinator of 18 students.

I see in those who create cinema, television, and any kind of art the ability to touch people and society in a fun way that provokes thought, empathy, and criticism.

So why am I telling you this and how can you help me?

I\\\\\\\\'ve been working on writing this pilot for almost two years, and production for over half a year.

Shooting a pilot today costs a lot of money, so I need your help.

I am asking you to invest in a project that will hopefully touch the hearts of Israelis. To bring about a mental and practical change in the phenomenon of gun crime, intrusion into the privacy of the bereaved families, and the range of emotions involved in dealing with and choosing to continue living alongside the loss.

And of course to commemorate the late Yonatan Granot in my own way.

When I say we, I mean an entire production team that works and works wholeheartedly so that this project comes to fruition.

As far as I\\\\\\\\'m concerned, this project also belongs to them and would have happened without them.

We are currently in the advanced stages of casting and working diligently on every detail of this project.

So where does your money go?

Actors, clothing, locations, scenery, lighting and photography equipment, travel reimbursements, food for the team, editing, soundtrack, and a million other things that are required for you to see my story on the screen.

We also put gifts!

So that we can give back in any way we can in return for your donation. Friends and family who gave from the bottom of their hearts to make the recruitment a success joined the Throat.

Those who are interested in the finished harvest according to the allocation are welcome to contact us privately and of course, we will be happy to help and give everything possible.

Each contributor will be credited. And we thank him from the bottom of our hearts.

If you are unable to donate, we will be happy if you help us by sharing and distributing!

Help me realize what unfortunately will be the dream.

A pilot episode about the bereavement experience from my eyes.

And if you\\\\\\\\\'ve come this far, then for that alone I\\\\\\\\'ll thank you very much!
