In the face of far right and settler violence, we act to protect vulnerable communities and prevent harm.
Over the past year, our Solidarity Guard has organized dozens of actions involving hundreds of activists. We established a protective presence network that operates 24/7 alongside Palestinian communities in the West Bank. We organized hundreds of volunteers to assist Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest — when settler violence makes venturing to agricultural areas dangerous. We show up at high-risk events within Israel
to document and deescalate.
Day after day, we went to Silwan in East Jerusalem to stand with Palestinian residents against the threat of home demolitions and to act against violence in the neighborhood. We stood by the residents of the Old City on the notoriously violent Jerusalem Day and protected bus drivers from violent rioters.
What your donation makes possible
- Transportation to bring trained activists to the flashpoints that need them most
- Preparation and training in protective presence techniques so that every volunteer who shows up knows how to de-escalate, document, and support
- Gear to help our activists be as prepared as possible and stand out
Help us continue to act and organize against this violent reality and for the safety of everyone on this land.
