Alonei Yitzhak is a leadership prep academy designed to answer the social needs of disadvantaged young Israeli men. As a branch of The Israeli Leadership Academy Bnei Zion, our mission is to close the opportunity gap for our students by providing them the tools needed to successfully serve in the The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and further social and economic integration.
The Academy was founded in 2015 in memory of
Jordan Ben Simon, a lone soldier who gave his life during Operation “ Protective Edge”. Alonei Yitzhak strengthens the core ideals of Israeli culture by transforming young men fated for the social periphery into leaders, helping them build self-esteem and giving them a lasting connection to their land and Jewish identity.
Alonei Yitzhak covers the cost of every student wishing to enroll to better themselves. Our 10-month boarding tuition free program includes academic studies in subjects of, Jewish thought and heritage, philosophy, and Zionism. Students participate in field expeditions, community service, physical training, team building, and focus on personal development skills.
The mechina dedicates our modest resources to talented young men, individuals who would otherwise find themselves on the periphery of society.
