Latet is an amazing organization in Israel which raises very little money in the US. Latet (not to be confused with Leket) works with large food manufactures in Israel and distributes $30MM of food to hundreds of shelters in Israel. The vast majority of food is donated, so for every dollar they raise, they can distribute $9 worth of food. They also provide assistance to Holocaust survivors in Israel and their work was highlighted on the front page of the Jerusalem Post a few weeks ago.
