In the wake of the disaster that struck Israel on October 7, 2023, we face an unprecedented national challenge. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have experienced/are experiencing trauma, loss, or evacuation from their homes, along with their families. However, as Jewish history has taught us, it is precisely in moments of crisis that the greatest opportunity for growth and renewal lies.

Responding to a National Need: An Acceleration and Empowerment Platform for Resilience and Rehabilitation Initiatives

The Trauma Treatment Fund was established as a strategic response to the urgent need for a systematic and multi-dimensional approach to strengthening Israel's national resilience. We established the fund to nurture and accelerate leading initiatives in trauma treatment, mental and physical rehabilitation, and strengthening community and national resilience.

Our Solution: Creating an Ecosystem of National Resilience and Renewal

We believe that only through a holistic and integrated approach can "our home" here in Israel cope with the enormous challenges and the scale of help needed before us, turning them into opportunities for resilience, growth, and renewal.

The fund focuses on 4 main objectives:

1. Identifying and investing in groundbreaking resilience and rehabilitation initiatives: We locate the most promising projects in the fields of rehabilitation, resilience, and national renewal and invest in them. Each project is carefully selected based on its potential to create significant and sustainable impact.
2. Rapid growth of initiatives so they can assist many more Israelis in much less time: We provide a team of mentors, advisors, and experts from the best in Israel (and abroad). The experts accompany and support the initiatives, providing them with a "rapid growth track" that doubles and triples their growth, their effectiveness, their financial efficiency, and their integration into the ecosystem of national resilience and renewal.
   Among other things, the fund's experts will assist in business and strategic development, financial guidance and resource mobilization, operational and logistical support, recruitment and training of professional manpower, creating strategic collaborations, investor and donor relations, and more.
3. Creating a complete ecosystem for national resilience: The fund will create collaborations between initiatives to increase overall effectiveness and create a proven and measurable holistic model for national strengthening. We believe that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
4. Research and development to turn Israel into a global resilience model: The fund will assist in connections to accompanying academic research, which is a significant component in gaining recognition for the effectiveness of the initiatives and the national resilience ecosystem. This is with the aim of turning Israel into a global role model in this field in the future.

From Trauma to Renewal and Resilience

The Together Organization Fund works to create a systematic and multi-dimensional approach to strengthening national resilience, treating trauma, and supporting renewal among a wide range of populations - soldiers, reservists, evacuees, children, kibbutz residents, and the general public.

We believe that through the fund's unique approach, we can convert the national trauma we experienced into a driving force for renewal and resilience. Every project we support, every soul we "save", means another home in Israel, another entrepreneur in high-tech, and another groundbreaking excellent researcher in academia. All these are steps in building a stronger, more united, and more resilient Israeli society.

Our Projects: Stories of Hope and Renewal

1. Slowness Project led by Merav Gil Hirsch conducts five-day retreats for party survivors and has established a supportive and embracing community for them.
   • The results are exceptional, allowing many of them to start leaving the house again, providing them with tools to cope with trauma and begin to reintegrate into society.
   • Donations will accelerate the number of people going through the workshop each month.
     
     
2. Trauma Treatment Workshops at Medical Care Hospital - Medical Care Hospital is the first hospital in the country to treat using an integrative method. Since October 7, it has specialized in trauma treatment, and now pioneers with five-day workshops for soldiers and civilians exposed to the horrors of October 7. The method they developed has been examined and measured and achieved a 300% improvement in the participants' condition.
   • Donations will allow many more soldiers and civilians to participate in such workshops, and also to build a training system that will spread the method.
     
     
3. Danny's Farm - A therapeutic farm recognized as a resilience farm that allows combat soldiers who experienced combat shock to find a place of healing, containment, and support from which they can grow anew to a better life.
   • Donations will allow reaching more soldiers and post-traumatic reservists to join the farm's activities.
     
     
4. Growing Anew - The program of the Growing Anew Center creates a 'healing space' for young people to recover and emerge from trauma and crisis situations, release negative feelings and emotional ventilation with the help of animals on the farm that have undergone rescue and rehabilitation themselves.
   • Donations will allow operating the healing space for many more young people who need it.
     
     
5. Breaking Waves - A project that takes soldiers and reservists who experienced trauma but the Ministry of Defense cannot provide them with an adequate response for a rehabilitation and healing process through an annual sailing program.
   • Donations are needed to purchase boats and pay for teams to accompany the soldiers.
     
     
6. SeeMe - Creating a Social and Supportive Classroom - A project designed to make a leap in the education system and allow every teacher to understand the social system in the classroom, implement recommendations that will make the class more united, prevent suicides, prevent depression among students and empower them.
   • Donations are needed to train additional teams to implement the system in more schools.
     
     
7. Body-Mind Treatments for Evacuees - A network of 1000 therapists who since October 7 have been providing treatments to evacuees, with the help of a system that allows easy coordination between them.
   • Also, the program in its next stage is designed to create support circles for body-mind therapists who are worn out and accumulating secondary traumas.
   • Donations will allow paying therapists and regularly conducting workshops to support them and train them in trauma treatment.
     
     
8. Training Teachers for Trauma Treatment - A project that brings a deep training program for teachers to enable teachers and educators to know how to properly approach Israeli students, many of whom were exposed to the horrors of October 7 or are under great pressure from the ongoing harsh reality of the Swords of Iron war.
   • Donations will allow reaching many more teachers across the country, both through physical and virtual training.
