Those who love animals know that animals have an incredible influence to heal and provide love.
Indeed, 70 animal therapy treatments are held weekly for children in the petting area of Talpiot children's village.
Sadly, the cages are old and not properly ventilated and the space isn’t well maintained. The place requires an urgent renovation to allow the animals a respectful and loving home! And unfortunately, the Ministry of Welfare cannot support the renovation of the petting area.
Talpiot is a boarding school for children at risk. Animals allow many children to open their hearts, re-develop trust in the world and heal fractures. Over the last ten years, more than 20,000 hours of care have been provided to the children of the village, at our zoo. It's time to offer these animals the same love.
Take a look at our petting area in Talpiot:
We need to renovate and place fans inside the cages, arrange the space to create a suitable living environment, refurbish the treatment room, and more.
It is our duty to take care of the animals and return the love they give to our children. We can't do that without your help.
Your contribution serves a dual purpose. Give love to the animals and through them, give to the children who deserve a better future. Help us give Talpiot's children a better life.
