Supporting Our Soldiers and Their Families
In the heart of every community are its protectors – the brave men and women who selflessly serve in the IDF. Our team and I are part of the reserves in Sayeret Givati, an elite unit that has been at the front since October 7th. Our team consists of individuals like me who are not in the reserves or are unable to go to the front for various reasons. We see it as vital to support our brother in the front from the homefront. Our mission is to extend a helping hand to our reserves at the front and their families from back home. Inspired by the courage of our soldiers on the front lines.
What We Aim To Do
We know firsthand the immense sacrifices made by the soldiers but also their families and understand that supporting them goes beyond mere appreciation – it requires action.
We aim to encompass a range of support services, aimed at addressing the practical and emotional needs of our families. This includes:
Home Support: Handling home arrangements, including package collection, medicine procurement, childcare, and navigating bureaucratic processes.
Psychological Support: Offering emotional and psychological assistance to soldiers and their families, ensuring their mental well-being.
Communication and Coordination: Serving as a liaison between soldiers, their families, and military command, providing a critical communication link.
Problem Solving and Assistance: Actively finding solutions to various challenges faced by military families.
Our Approach
We operate as a dispersed, agile team across the country, adapting to the unique needs of each family based on our members' locations.
Our work methodology is efficient and responsive:
- Requests are received from soldiers or command and shared within our dedicated team network.
- Each request is addressed by capable team members who take responsibility for providing a solution.
- Continuous updates and feedback ensure that every request is followed through to completion.
