We seek your support for the purchase of new rehabilitation equipment for preschool children with disabilities at the Or Early Childhood Rehabilitation Center. With the understanding that early diagnosis and proper intervention is critical for achieving the most favorable outcomes in young children with disabilities, the new and modern equipment will help maximize the children\\\\'s development and rehabilitation.
The Chimes Israel Or Early Childhood Rehabilitation Center has been operating in Modi\\\\'in-Maccabim-Re\\\\'ut for 16 years. The early intervention center focus on cognitive, motor, physical, and speech therapy for preschool children ages six months to six years. The center has five daycare and two kindergarten classes that serve 70 children with developmental delays, genetic syndromes and complex medical conditions. In addition, there is a dedicated class for children on the autistic continuum.
Each class has an educational team that includes a preschool teacher and assistants, as well as a therapeutic team from a variety of health professions. Additionally, there are social workers and a nurse who provide support for the child and the entire family. A personal rehabilitation plan is built for each child, which includes rehabilitative goals to work on during their time at the center and at home. The children receive a full array of treatments as required according to the law.
