Moshav Nitzanei-Oz was established in 1951 on the border as part of the NaHaL's settlement project (Nahal-Oz and Nir-Oz were established in the same framework).
The aerial distance between our houses and the Palestinian city of Tulkarem (controlled by Palestinian Authority) is less than a kilometer.
Following the current situation and the neglect on the part of the authorities, the Moshav committee has decided to improve our security infrastructure and in the last few weeks has invested as much budgets and voluntary work of residents as possible.
Unfortunately, we find it difficult to meet all the expenses required improving the infrastructure, therefore, we are turning to you for assistance.
The requested budget will be used to improve the existing infrastructures and to meet the needs of the emergency response unit to control the perimeter fences and the gates ASAP.
The list of planned works and the required equipment
The costs include VAT. Development and installation works will be carried out voluntarily by the community:
Peripheral lighting:
- Gate 1 - Poles, electrical infrastructure and lighting fixtures - approx.. 30 thousand
- Gate 2 - Improvement of infrastructure and lighting fixtures - approx. 12 thousand
- Gate 3 - Infrastructure improvement and lighting fixtures - approx. 6 thousand
- Gate 4 - Construction of electrical infrastructure, poles and lighting fixtures - approx. 60 thousand
Radios: a relay and 18 devices (Command and for members of the emergency response unit) - approx. thousand
Personal equipment: vests and protection for the emergency response unit - approx. 30 thousand
Computation of the control room - approx. 20 thousand
Cameras and technological accessories: approx. 45 thousand
Professional drone: approx. 45 thousand
Miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses: approx. 22 thousand
Total cost estimate is 300,000 thousand
The local committee is an association that operates with complete transparency. All expenses for this project will be fully displayed on the Moshav website. If there is any surplus funds after carrying out the above, it will be directed to the improvement and maintenance of the security infrastructure in the settlement and to them only.
