Project MIFGASH for Israeli Advocacy!
This summer, with your help, we will be organizing a seminar for international students who are in Israel on various exchange study programs, training them in Israeli 'Hasbara'.
In order for our seminar to succeed, we need you with us! Your support is crucial in enabling us to move forward and execute our project just ad we imagine it!
On our seminar, students will receive the tools necessary to answer the toughest questions about Israel and will be taught how to deal with the challenges facing them upon their return home. The Participants will be trained to be Ambassadors for Israel in the world.
Who Are We?
We are a group of 25 student volunteers from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. We are organizing a project intended to improve Israel's image in the world.
We are all part of the StandWithUs Fellowship – a student leadership program in public diplomacy.
Israel's negative perception in the world is an unfortunate fact. We understand that it is our responsibility to act to change the current state.
We strive to strengthen and empower the hundreds of students that come to Israel every year on student exchange programs from all over the world. With their help, we believe we can make a true difference.
What Do We Do?
We initiated a project called 'MIFGASH', that will provide a training seminar for students from all over the world that have come to study in Israel. During our seminar, students will take part in lectures, panels and workshops that will educate and train them in dealing with challenging questions and situations when advocating for Israel.
The Participants will be exposed to important content about the History of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and about its current state.
By the end of the Seminar, each participant will be able to personally share their knowledge of Israel with their communities back home and subsequently, many more people in the world will know the True Israeli Story.
In addition, by cooperating with the many Israeli representatives in the world – The Jewish Agency, Hillel, StandWithUs, and many more – our participants will be a strong force representing Israel as the country's future ambassadors.

Today, most international students on exchange and study abroad programs in Israel, do not fully understand the challenges and the importance of representing Israel abroad.
We have the ability to provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully advocate for Israel in their local campuses and communities.
The impact of each of their personal story and experience, goes far beyond any viral video or news article.
By providing them with the right tools, we can help them make a difference in the way people view Israel in the world, and possibly change future leaders' perception of Israel.
