On Saturday morning, October 7th, we all woke up to a the saddest and blackest morning we ever knew. While missiles were fired from the Gaza Strip, hundreds of terrorists infiltrated communities in the Gaza envelope and began a ruthless killing spree that claimed many victims. They set homes on fire, killed entire families, and abducted children and civilians. As events unfolded, it became clear that all the activities planned and scheduled to take place on the farm would be canceled. At the same time, close and beloved friends from our home communities in the Gaza envelope began calling, looking for a safe place to escape to. Since then, our farm has been filled and continues to fill with families who fled their home, as well as families living in Gaza envelope communities that were asked to evacuate but did not do- not have an organized solution.
The families stay on the farm for no cost, as long as they need to. Adults and children alike find a pleasant and safe natural space to reside, relax, and move freely. Our hosting facilities offer heated swimming pools, comfortable areas, and conditions that enable long-term stays. In addition to accommodation, we are collecting food product donations. The community of families that has formed here is creating social and educational content for the children, providing a sense of community security.
Since the outbreak of the war, all our business activities came to an abrupt halt, and the farm was left empty, allowing us to open our gates to anyone in need. However, we have no funding to sustain this.
In order for us to continue hosting, and providing a living space for anyone in need during this challenging period, we need your help! Every amount help us to continue our current activities for the benefit of the residents of the Gaza envelope and anyone in need.
