The aftermath of the October 7th attack has left numerous individuals with severe injuries, such as the 2300 new limb injuries victims, many of which require specialized treatment for physical and emotional recovery. Hospitals across Israel, tasked with treating these war victims, are facing an escalating demand for innovative solutions, and a significant shortage of experienced physiotherapists. Waiting times between treatments are long, and continuity of care can be problematic.

In our community, this crisis touches everyone; we all know someone who has been affected. Our efforts, at 6Degrees, focus on significantly enhancing the quality of life for amputees, fundamentally saving lives in the process. Through our proprietary technology, we enable the injured to not only alleviate their pain and reduce reliance on painkillers but also to decrease the need for frequent one-on-one physical therapy sessions.

Our innovative solution involves an interactive VR game that utilizes a strap fitted over the amputated area, promoting body movement and enhancing the range of motion. This allows for quicker recovery compared to traditional methods. Patients can engage in virtual soccer matches and music games, rekindling a sense of competition and accomplishment by performing activities they previously took for granted, focusing on the game rather than the pain.

We have letters of request from Ichilov, Sheba, and Reuth Hospitals asking for our systems.

It's vital to understand that about 80% of amputees suffer from phantom limb pain—a condition where pain is felt in a limb that no longer exists. Traditional treatments have limited effectiveness, focusing on psychological strategies to convince the brain that the limb is still active, and providing painkillers. MyMove simulates this presence, using images, videos, sounds, and induced movements to convince the brain that the limb is still active through visual, auditory, and tactile feedback, drastically reducing or even eliminating phantom limb pain.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to distribute 120 units of our technology to those in need, aiming to save and improve as many lives as possible.

Donation units will go directly to the Hospitals treating these brave souls.

Each system is priced at $1500 and includes an Oculus Quest 3 unit, two MyMove bands, and provides access to user data and analytics for both physicians and patients
