In honor of my Bat Mitzvah, I have chosen to organize a dance-a-thon fundraiser to support Leket Israel in helping those in need throughout Israel. All donations in honor of my Bat Mitzvah will enable the rescue and redistribution of fresh, nutritious produce and hot meat meals to those in need throughout Israel. A donation of $18 will enable the rescue of 180 lbs. of produce.
The dance-a-thon event will take place at Beth Torah Congregation, 47 Glenbrook Avenue in Toronto on Sunday, March 24th, 2019 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. The Magen Boys will keep everyone dancing!
A minimum donation of $18 is requested to participate in the dance-a-thon.

The Manna Project is an opportunity to actively help those in our community who are in need of food. There will also be a hands-on experience of food preparation for all ages – supervised by professional chefs.
Leket Israel, Israel's National Food Bank and premier food rescue organization, collects and rescues 40 million pounds of healthy, surplus food annually that would have gone to waste, and distributes it to those in need. Leket does this by working with hotels, corporate kitchens, army bases, farmers, and others to collect hot meals and produce that aren't going to be eaten and delivers them to its 200 nonprofit partners throughout Israel. Through these initiatives, Leket Israel helps to feed over 200,000 people per week including families, Holocaust survivors, elderly, youth at risk, and more.
