We work a little differently at SPCA Ramat Gan & Vicinity. In addition to adoptions and immediate medical attention, we work ongoing, day in and day out, to improve the lives of the animals that come under our care.
• Our commitment is that only safe and animal-loving homes will be allowed to adopt.
• We contribute to the community by connecting people with special needs and youth at risk to dogs.
• We reach dozens of schools and educate the next generation to become animal lovers.
• Above all: we are a no-kill organization. We will take care of each and every animal and never give up on any of our four legged friends.
Over the past six months alone:
• We have been able to save and rehabilitate over 200 dogs and cats and found them warm loving homes. Others are still with us, waiting in anticipation. Our shelter expenses (maintenance, food, veterinary treatments, etc.) amounts to approximately 123,000 NIS!
• Hundreds of people with special needs and youth at risk participated in an annual program of empowerment with the help of dogs. This program's expenses amounts to approximately 76,000 NIS!
• Every year becomes more challenging than the previous one; our shelter and educational programs' expenses are ever increasing. The expenses of the last half year alone amounts to over 200,000 NIS!
