The earthquake in Morocco triggered a severe humanitarian crisis that resulted not only in the tragic loss of thousands of lives, but also left tens of thousands of survivors without shelter. In immediate response, the Israeli organization, ISRAEL-is, organized an emergency delegation of members of its alumni network to distribute humanitarian, medical, and food supplies in the affected areas.
This mission is being conducted in collaboration with our friends and partners around the world. The Mimouna Association in Morocco will be assisting with on-the-ground support, providing us with essential supplies directly from the disaster zones. Beyond that, emergency aid equipment will be distributed with the support of our friends at AJC and IsraAID.
We at ISRAEL-is have built a strong connection to Morocco in the years following the Abraham Accords signing. We have friends and partners in the region that we care for deeply and hope for their safety and the safety of their loved ones.
