The Israeli Primate Sanctuary Foundation, one of the largest and most significant monkey sanctuaries in the world, serves as a safe haven and rehabilitation center for monkeys in need. Our sanctuary provides refuge for monkeys that were smuggled into Israel and confiscated by authorities, those released from research laboratories, monkeys rescued from harsh or illegal conditions, and even those arriving from neighboring countries in need of rehabilitation.

At our sanctuary, they undergo both physical and emotional rehabilitation, learning once again how to live among their fellow monkeys—an essential component of their well-being and recovery.
